What's a '67 camaro roller worth?

I have a chance to buy a 1967 camaro.

I think I can get it for $2,500.

Body is straight, no bondo... the wheelwells are perfect.

Guy wants to sell it with no powertrain, but a powerglide in the trunk.

If the body is in as good a shape as you say and has no major rust problems and doesn't look like anything needs to be replaced and there is no bondo...then the car is worth 2500 easy i'd say. First gens are going up in price and it's hard to find a nice straight car anymore. Good luck getting it and let us know!

But like...

What sort of price?

It supposedly came with a Glide originally, which to me means either a 6-cyl or a 2bbl 327.

So it has no special collectors status, although I think it had flip-up headlights...
For some reason I don't recall.

I'm lookling at it as a project that I can flip, and I need to know what it could sell for, so I know if I can get it in under budget.

I realize this isn't an exact science, I'm looking for best educated guess.

if it has the hide away headlights, it is an RS. That being said, if it doesnt have all of the hoses, actuators, motors, etc, its gonna cost an arm and a leg to make them work.

See, I forgot to look, but my friend apparently didn't.
He said thay have flip-ups.

His idea for us to buy it to make a few bucks actually.

I have the cash to do it, but I have to know where I stand first. I don't want to lose money.

It's too bad actually, I have been wanting another 1st gen for a long time. I just don't have the throwaway cash for it.

I figure I can get the car into the 12's real cheap with just connectors, slappers and a mild engine, but still have it be daily driver reliable.

Sell it to some college guy who wants a fast car.

I just have to check my figures first.
