Vortech Supercharger for '99 LS1

I am selling a Vortech Supercharger off of a '99 SS that was totalled. I installed this supercharger back in September for my friend, who owned the car. He put 1200 miles on it (two trips from Sac CA to San Luis Obispo CA) before he wrecked the car. It never even got to see the track. Bad for him, good for you!

CAR INFO

The car had over $40k invested into paint, suspension, stereo, and performance mods and was babied. Well, he may have just been too scared to drive it, but the point is he never got on it. The car was hit on the driver's side from the door to quarter. It totalled because the insurance company did not want to pay for the custom paint to be matched, and they didn't want to deal with a car that had aftermarket suspension.

SUPERCHARGER INFO

The supercharger is a 6psi boost satin finish without intercooler (PN: 4GK218-010SQ). It will fit 98-00 LS1 motors without buying additional parts from Vortech. I believe, but I'm not positive, that you can buy additional components to make this work for 01-02 LS1's. Here is the link to Vortech's site with all the detailed information.

PRICE

I am asking $3500. As you'll see on the website, this part sells new for $5128.95. I realize it isn't new, but it's only got 1200 miles on. I'm including everything that comes in the kit just as if it were new (fuel delivery system, reprogrammer, etc)

CONTACT INFO/OTHER DETAILS

Feel free to email me with questions, but please don't make an offer unless you're serious about buying. It is still installed on the car, and may sell with the motor if I can sell it that way. I would rather not take it off just to find out that you were just curious or dreaming or bored. On a sidenote, you do have to drill and tap your oil pan for a return line. I would be willing to trade the oil pan already drilled and tapped for your stock one (I will tig weld the fitting for you instead of it just being tapped) if you're interested.

Thank you,

Eric

I am also selling the LS1 from the car with 28k on it. I will sell this with or without the supercharger. I'm asking $4k for the motor, wiring, ecm and motor accessories (throttle body to exhaust manifolds) I will discount the motor/supercharger package to $7k.

None of my business but holly low ball offer from hell I've ever heard. Nothing more irritating to me than just a low ball offer like that. Guy wants $3500 for the system and you offer him $1500? Throw it on ebay man you'll get that much for an LS1 system.

Thanks for the offer I guess, but I already sold the supercharger for the price I was asking. I really don't think it was a high price considering it was a little more than 1/2 of the original price and it had extremely low miles on it. I didn't expect to get the original price that was paid for it or anything. Just something fair. Thanks for your interest though.
