I just pulled the 350/2004r out of the monte project I bought... Engine runs good but unfortunately I don't know anything about it... the previous owner was clueless except to say that the owner before him swapped the 350 in...

It runs decent but since I know nothing about it I would recommend at least pulling a head and inspecting it... I've never even pulled a VC off it...

It has an Accel HEI distributor, edelbrock carb, intake, air cleaner, and valve covers...

It is 100% complete from starter to distributor... I pulled it with the fan attached and spark plug wires still on the plugs... just needs to be dropped into something or tore down for a rebuild...

I noticed a slight oil leak from the back of the valve cover on the drivers side and there were a few drips on the floor under where the starter is... I haven't looked to see where that was coming from...

The tranny seems to shift fine and has no obvious problems... however it should probably be inspected too...

Asking $1200 o.b.o, and I will not ship it... pick up only... I'm located in Nashville, TN...

I would guess it is probably worth a tad more, especially with a 200 4r in the deal, but since I know nothing about the internals of the engine, I don't see how I can ask for much more...

Here are a couple pics... I have not had internet at home for almost two weeks and won't have it at home until next monday... I can take some pics of the engine on the stand but may not be able to post them until monday evening...

P.S. I have a great palette built to haul engines that I could give to ya to haul it for $40... and also have the radiator from the car... whoever buys the engine/trans can have it for free...
