Those of you running open headers...

I have a set of "tips" for on the end of the LT headers. They have the 3 bolt flange like the JetHot headers and the pipe is bent downward and the exit is pinched to add just a slight amount (don't think it's much at all but I figured a slight amount was better than none) of back pressure. The pipe comes out about 1 1/2" and goes down about the same. The exits can be twisted any direction since the flange isn't welded on and is held on by a flare in the pipe. I used these to keep the underside of my car from becoming black until I got the y-pipe. The flange and pipe are both ceramic coated. So if anyone is running or planning on running open headers for some time and you don't want the heat and carbon shooting straight out these would be good. Sorry, no pictures. I paid $45 for a shop to make the tips and then the ceramic coating was put on. I have only used these for like 2 months at most. I'll take the best offer.
