TEA Stage II LT1 heads all new parts

I have a nice pair of TEA (Total Engine Airflow) CNC ported LT1 heads up for grabs here. I have to move them because the combustion chambers don't have enough volume to get the compression ratio I need on my stroker. They have about 100 miles on them since a complete rebuild with all new parts.

Here's the run down: Brand new Manley Pro-Flow stainless valves, 2.0 intake and 1.56 exhaust, new bronze guides set up at .001" clearance intake and .0015" exhaust, Serdi 3 angle valve job and light pass to clean up the decks. Very clean with no cracks, damage or problems of any kind. I just pulled them from the engine so they have been tested, no problems whatsoever. One of the exhaust manifold bolts was helicoiled all others are fine. The chambers are about 52cc's, intake ports go close to 195 cc's and I forget the exhaust volume. The ports are completely CNC'd as are the combustion chambers. Ready to bolt on and go. They will include brand new never used double valve springs,7 degree locks and retainers. The springs are rated for .600" lift.

Here's a link to TEA's webpage, it has flow bench numbers for the heads.

http://www.totalengineairflow.com/pr.../gmhead/gmlt1/

They flow 280cfm intake and 230 cfm exhaust at .55" lift. Killer set of heads for a hot 355 or 383. They charge $1400 for this package not including the cores you send in. Steal 'em for $1000 including shipping and you don't have to wait a month or two either. Calls are welcome to (205) 213-9896. Local pickup is welcome, I'm in the Birmingham, Alabama area. Michael.

Would you sell the bare heads and valves? Keep the springs for your new heads?

I'd sell them without the springs. Not sure what the springs, retainers and locks are worth if I sell them separately, they will come off a set of new out of the box Trick Flow heads. Forgot to mention I have a set of 1.6 ratio Comp Magnum NSA rockers for a 3/8" stud and new unopened Comp guide plates. The rocker arms have a ball fulcrum and roller tip. Rated for 350 lbs. pressure.

Feel free to make an offer on the bare heads plus valves.

Michael
