Have set of these .030" over pistons. Ran for like 8-10k miles before i pulled the motor and store it apart. Im going NA so i would like to just get some forged flat tops dont really want to put these back in. they are in great condition

general rule of thumb with used stuff is about half. Pistons,.....with 10k on them. You got a ways to drop b4 you'll have any luck selling those. U might fetch $300. Have they been checked out for wear, and were they used with nitrous?

 

thanks for the info! i dont mind selling for 300 or whatever i can get 275? they were never used with nitrous or anything. just regular daily driven miles. im just looking to get rid of these so i can put my motor together. i should take em in to machine shop and get em checked out? thatll help me with sell im guessing

 

well, its up to you really. Youll get a better price through confidence if you have a shop mic them for skirt wear. They SHOULD be ok with that kind of miles, but it never hurts to sell something knowing theyre ok to re-use and be able to prove it. This way you take the guesswork out of the price. I would actually be interested in these knowing they spec'd out. Other options are to throw up some pics of all the pistons and thier skirts, but expect less in return due to the gamble. I suggest starting with some pics. If you cant post, please send me some.
