this is a great bike to start on, but still fast enough to get you into trouble. it's an entire '97-98 honda cbr 600 F3 w/ a '93 F2 frame (cheap insurance). 25k miles, d&d full system, carbon can (scratched), k&n air filter, jet kit, ebc kevlar clutch, ek srx 520 chain, vortex 14/45 sprockets (-1, +2), galfer ss brake lines up front w/ebc pads, intuitive frame sliders, gixxer passenger pegs (moves exhaust up higher), two brothers rearset adapter plates, competition works pegs, flush mount blinkers up front, metzeler m1 tires-front is almost new, rear 50%, powdercoated wheels, custom paint, battery is 1 year old, plugs changed and air filter cleaned in the spring, new steering head bearings & wheel bearings. extra plastic-both lowers & both rear side fairings painted to match existing paint. my best 1/4 miles was 11.67@118 7.54@97 1/8th with 1.95 60ft. clean texas title in my name, no leins. registration & inspection are current, but expire in feb/march. i bought this 2 years ago with 12k miles as my first street bike. the stator cover and the end cap on the exhaust is scratched from before i bought it, the trip odometer doesn't work, there are a few paint flaws (my first stab at paint), but overall its a sharp looking bike, and i never had any mechanical problems at all. the only major thing is that someone did some hammer mechanics on the inside frame to clear the f3 carbs (f3 frames are concave, f2 frames aren't), there is a very shallow dent in the frame on one side, and very slight twist at the very end of the tail. i know people go crazy when they here that, but its not as bad as it sounds, and it rides fine as far as i can tell. very reliable bike (it's a honda ). here are a few more pics. email me if you want the full size ones.
