Spohn body mount tq arm w/loop

Black Spohn body mount tq arm with driveshaft loop.
Tubular Adjustable Torque Arm for long tube headers.
Mild Steel.
Front DS loop.
Spherical rod end.
Sells for $450 new. Asking $300 local pick up only Marysville, Michigan.

BMR tubular lower control arms. These are red in color and are non adjustable. $100 local pick up

BMR tubular panhard rod. This is black in color and is non adjustable $100 local pick up

All parts are in good working condition. I kept them after I sold my car because I thought I would pick up another fbody but have decided to go the vette route instead.

Do you have pics of the TA installed? I have a custom exhaust and would like to see if it fits my setup.

If he doesn't have a pic, I have quite a few. Let me know. I have the spherical rod end, and the dropped cross-member for the long tube headers. The only thing that is different on mine is the DS loop is moved back about 6", off the cross-member and onto the side of the arm, because of the space taken up by the Gear Vendors O/D on the tailshaft of the trans.

Hi Fred, please do. I remember you had a website with all sort of nice pics of your ride.

Website is gone. I can upload the pictures to my album here and post them. I'll do it Saturday morning.

It's exactly as Fred describes, it fit perfectly on mine with no issues. I'll try to grab some pictures.

The front mount may be different. Early versions, and high strength versions use the stacked box sections. Later versions and standard strength used tubular sections, bent to curve around the intermediate pipe.

Fred:

Thanks for the pics. Right away I can tell it would not fit my car. My exhaust system is a modified Kook y-pipe merging into a 3-inch inlets to 3.5-inch outlet Burns y-pipe. The cross member bolted to the chassis would need to be modified to clear my exhaust.

Re: Spohn body mount tq arm w/loop

You'd be surprised what you can fit......

I had the earlier Spohn TA with the slider and the bellows on the front, and a front mount for the standard exhaust. We fit a custom 3" Y-pipe, merged into the 4" Mufflex catback. The Flowmaster merge was right on the front mount, but it fit... note small dents in floor pan. Also wedged a 4" ACPT driveshaft into the space.

Pm's replied too. Thanks for the pictured illustrations Fred. The tq arm I have is the later tubular design. Based off of what I see it would provide more clearance than the earlier version. The tq arm I purchased is designed for long tube headers and will provide a little more room. I'll have pictures later tonight of all suspension parts listed above.

Could you post front view photos with a ruler showing the clearance for the y-pipe? I'm running very big tubing right next to the bolting brackets.
