I sold my '97 Z28 a year ago, just cleaning out my garage. I have a OBD1 PCM, (AUTO) that I had bought as a spare. Has an aftermarket tune in it, cannot remember the place in Texas that did it. I test ran the PCM in the car when I got it, but like I said it was just a spare.

Also have the original OBD2 PCM from my '97 Z28 AUTO that I had removed to switch to OBD1. This worked perfectly when removed, and has never been programmed. Still original factory tune.
