There really is no conversion needed..I welded aluminum just fine with it..all you have to do is set the polarity to mig, hook up the argon tank, spool the aluminum wire, change tips and your good to go...to really weld aluminum most efficiantly though a high frequency box would be needed to break down the aluminum particles...but everything i have here will allow you to weld aluminum...I would just recomend getting a high frequency box if you want a fully concentrated professional quality weld.
actually, to do it properly you need to change out the entire sheath for one that is made specifially for running aluminum, change out the rollers, tips, polarity, argon, wire...... lincoln sells a kit usually for all their welders to convert.
i may still be interested though......... ill let you know.

Oh ok cool haha learn something new every day..I had no problems welding aluminum, but I never did any thick aluminum..but i mean if i wanted professional results i would have to change the rollers and all..anyways let me know if you are still interested..I will lower the price to $500.00 plus shipping..Thank's,
Carter

Hey Carter, I'm interested but don't need the cylinders. Shipping them to michigan would be a pain anyway. Hit me on AIM or drop me a line if you're interested in letting the setup go without them (for a lower price of course
