Mosier 9in bolt in

Bolt in on a 4th gen fbody.

I dont know much about it except it has the big axles 35 spline I believe, big bearings, nodular center, 3.70gears, detroit locker, HD yoke, from what I was told it had about every option you could get when you order them new from mosier.

2000 or make offer. Located in North Florida, will not ship

Is it set up for ABS. How many miles on it? What was taken off of? Was it dragged?

Re: Mosier 9in bolt in

I bought it 3 months ago to put in my car, but a situation arose and I need money. I never actually installed it in my car, but it was in a good friend of mines car and I went for a ride before he pulled it. It works perfectly. He maybe made 10 passes on it the entire time he had it in the car.

Did you use it as a daily driver or just a once in a while car?

Also, did you buy it new or used, if used how many miles/track passes did the previous owner put on it.

Did it whine at all?

Thanks,

Jerry

Re: Mosier 9in bolt in

I bought it from a guy that was having traction problems. I think he might have had 5-10 passes on this rear when I got it from him. He was going to tub or mini tub his car and didn't want to ruin the rear by having narrowed for his car. So I got it and he purchased one made for his suspension set up. I drove my car 25-50 miles a week if it was running on avg. It has made it to turkey rod run 2 years also with that rear. It had some whine to it but it was hard to here with the old mufflex on the car. I got tired of the locking / unlocking of the locker and ratcheting when making turns. I might have put 10-20 1/8th mile track passes with a few street grudge matches.
