Mcleod single disk, lt4 pp, USED.....CHEAP
I've got a used mcleod single disk clutch disk, and a matching lt4 pressure plate. I'm upgrading to a better clutch and don't need this anymore. clutch worked and held great when removed, however I would not put this unit back into a car without rebuilding it. it's pretty worn. the clutch disk has .030" pad left on one side and .025 on the other. it did not slip at all and still grabbed very hard, but like i said, i would have it rebuilt. the pressure plate has equal wear and will also need to be resurfaced. the disphram fingers are fine, but it looks like this clutch was slipped a alot. anyways, i think mcleod will rebuild the units for around 225 bucks for everything, but you'd have to check into that. the pressure plate will be fine if resurfaced, but you will need to have the disk resurfaced with new material by a good shop or mcleod. i think mcleod charges around 225 to rebuild a clutch and a good local shop will probably be less. i also have the throwout bearing too if you want that. I'm only looking for 100 bucks shipped for everything. the clutch probably has 10,000 miles left under its belt if you did want to use it an drive on it. mcleod rates this disk to 450hp. thanks
