refreshed the listing. The pics are somewhat crappy but the calipers are just dirty, not really oxidized or anything. Here in AZ we are lucky about the weathering of most things, except for plastic which melts... hahaha

How much was the intake ported? Any other info on it?

 

The intake looks well ported, the runners were also welded, not sure it is all that noticeable in the pics. I am not sure who ported it, but when I picked this up, it was supposed to be matched to a set of heads done by Mike Mendenhall in Southern California. My best guess is that he or someone else in socal did the work. Very well done engine that came with it, and the intake looks good other than it has been a shelf ornament for years now. I might also be willing to sell my LT4 intake that is currently on my car, but ported by Eric Bradby (EB Porting sp?) many years ago. Basically... I only need one intake... hahaha. There is this poslished one, or the red one on my car. Both are nice ported units.

It is possible I could try retaking the pictures in the listing to show more detail if you are interested. Just let me know... thanks.

Was it opened up for a 58mm TB? I would be using with afr heads so I'm not sure how the porting would match up so I am a bit concerned about that. I may call afr and talk with them and get back to you. I would like the polished one more.

 

I am running mine on AFR heads. AFR technically does not make an intake for them, so it all depends on how the heads and intake are ported or gasket matched and what not.
