shotgun the intake. as long as your within driving rage of me. Ill look up the map.

looks like your close enough.

Is this the air intake of the car or the actual intake which the throttle body bolts too?

answers

answers to questions:

its the entire intake, not the plastic tubing.

ecm is from an A4 car

rims are in nice condition

if someone wanted all the items listed (except for the tires) I'd make them a smoking deal and throw in whatever i have related to fuel injection.

If you get desperate or can't get rid of the opti, I can do $75 and pick it up (poor college kid lol). Not meaning to lowball, but if you don't have any alternatives, look me up.

LTCC = LT1/4 Coil Conversion

Instead of the crappy single coil setup we have stock, this kit lets you use 8 LS1 style coils. While at the same time, this setup keeps the higher voltages from running through the optispark (hence lengthening its life/less corrosion/etc.). You can eliminate the stock coil and ignition module with this setup.

Great setup if you had/have the high rpm miss or looking to make more power with more ease of mind. Nice being able to stretch out to 6K with no miss.

LT4 KM I could see much lower knock counts on my scanning software but can't really tell a seat of the pants difference. Definitly a must for headers, there were times I was getting constant knock at idle, normal drive, and WOT. Although I think finally got bit by the "opti fairy", since I have sporatic missing. Oh well I guess 177k miles on one opti isn't too bad.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Cool, thanks for the info. I had seen the LTCC on some LT1s before but never knew what it was called. I get a lot of high rpm miss, weither its the nock or spark i dont know, i had my pcm tunded to desensitize the KM, but i still want to pick up a LT4 one. My car makes a lot of noise and rattles with the exhaust the way i have it. i'm sure im getting a lot of flase knock.

I'm going to be driving one of my SS's up to pick up this intake sometime soon hopefully. You drive yours in this weather? or have another car to use? i'd assume you drive it a lot cause of the miiles you have on it.

thanks again

Ya I have a 1990 S15 Jimmy I drive when its cold and snowy, but I don't mind driving the SS in the rain though and almost all summer long. Its too much fun not to. Although I wish I had 2 of them like you, I'd like to have a stock one for everyday driving and then another to make a TT monster out of.
