LT1 distributor

where is it locaed on the motor where the year of it is because i exchanged motors from another camaro n the distributor wont fit

This is in the wrong section..but the 93-97 lt1s opti spark is in front behind the water pump...93-94 lt1s use the spline driven optis,and 95-97 use the pin driven opti..
