UPDATE 10-15-06:

I have an LT1 AC compressor that I'll sell for $50 shipped. I'm putting AC back in my car and I bought two of these things by accident so I'm selling this one.

Yes. The pulley spins freely and I can grab the clutched part by hand and turn it.
