LS1 Motor and more from '99 SS
LS1 Motor and more from '99 SS
Hi,
I was parting out a '99 SS a few months back, and I still have some parts left. The car had 28k miles on it when it was totaled. It was hit on the driver's side from the door to the rear quarter. I need to get this stuff out of my garage, so I am lowering prices, and I will consider all reasonable offers. Here's most of what I have, and I still have a few random interior parts and stuff left as well. If there's something you need, please let me know and make me an offer.
1. LS1 motor: $3500 This is complete with the wiring harness, ecm, and all belt driven accessories, but does NOT have injectors or a bracket for the power steering pump. It had a supercharger on it for 1200 miles, and I do not have the stock motor parts any more. I will sell it as is, or install injectors and the bracket for the actual cost of the parts. I figured I would offer it as is in case someone wants to put aftermarket injectors in it.
2. Front brakes: $125 complete with rotors, calipers, brackets, spindals, knuckles, etc.
3. SS Spoiler: $350 It's pewter, but has some scratches in it, and should be painted.
4. Rear Bumper: $125 I can ship via Greyhound to pretty much anywhere in the lower 48 for under $90.
5. Rack and pinion: $75
6. Smog parts: Let me know what you need and make offer
7. 5 spoke 17" wheels (painted) I only have three because one hit a curb. It could be fixed, and I will include it if desired as long as you pay for shipping, but I got a quote at $300 to have it fixed, and it didn't seem worth the cost. The other 3 rims are in good shape, but not perfect. They do have a few curb marks. I will sell individually or all together. Let me know what you need
8. '93-'97 headlight conversion kit. I bought this on Ebay, but it has a blue tint to the lights, and I don't want to risk getting a ticket. It says it's 50 state legal, but the cops around here literally escort me around town and pull me over everytime I don't use a blinker. I just don't want to give them anything else to add to the list. I paid $150 for the kit, and I would like to sell it for the same price. It comes complete with the lights, bulbs, wiring, and instructions. Everything you need to install it except tools.
That's what I can think of right now. Sorry this is so long. Let me know what you need if you don't see it here, and like I said MAKE ME OFFERS!!! I really need my garage back!
Thanks,
Eric

Re: LS1 Motor and more from '99 SS
Hi,
I already sold the brakes, but I do have another set of rear brakes I got off an 02 rearend. I bought the rearend complete and didn't use the brakes. I also have parts from a 95 z28. I have the front brakes off of that but they are different.
thanks
Eric

Re: LS1 Motor and more from '99 SS
Hi,
Thanks for all of the replies. I have sold the front seats (on Ebay) and the spoiler as well.
If there's anything else anyone needs, I still have a '95 Z28 that I'm parting out. I don't have everything left, but I do have 90% of the interior and a few miscellaneous exterior pieces.
Thanks,
Eric

Hi,
The LT1 was black, and the interior was black leather. I've sold the front seats, and I traded some of the interior for tan out of an '02 so there are a few pieces missing. Most of the body panels are no good, but there are few that survived. Just let me know if there's something you need.
Thanks,
Eric

Re: LS1 Motor and more from '99 SS
The carpet is dirty from sitting around, but it's in good shape. I haven't had time to shampoo it, but there aren't any holes or worn spots. The only spots that look like they might not come out are where the seat belt bolts go in, but I know every car I've seen looks like that. If you want I can send pics. It's the dark grey/black color (stock)
Thanks,
Eric

Re: LS1 Motor and more from '99 SS
I'm in the middle of moving, but I'm 99% sure I have one. I know I do as long as it didn't fly out of the truck or something. If you can give me til Monday I can let you know for sure. I know I've got the bolts somewhere too so I'll send those with it. How does $10 sound?
Let me know if you want it, and if you could send a ZIP for shipping that would help out a lot.
Thanks,
Eric
