Re: Jegster Torque Arm.

I personally never used it. I bought it off of a friend that switched to an adjustable setup. They work pretty damn good from what I hear, someone I know with an 89 TTA is cutting sub-1.5 60's with it so it cant be that bad.

Try searching here or at www.thirdgen.org for more info on it.

Trust me, i was surprised it held up myself. But, like i said, definitely great piece. i think it is made by Alston for Jegs. it looks identical to the alston piece , except for the cheaper price tag. here is a vid of my car with it. http://gettherush.com/vids/rush2.wmv

Awesome video, even BETTER song! Nazareth rocks!

Damn dude, your car ****ing MOVES! Looks like youve got that suspension dialed in real good... what pinion angle are you running if you dont mind me asking?

Also funny you mentioned Alston, I always thought it was very similar in build style/quality to my Alston sub frams connectors that I havent intalled in 5 years. I know all my parts very well... mostly because they never actually end up on the car, and I constantly have to move them outta my way in the garage.

Re: Jegster Torque Arm.

pinion angle is -2* and as far as suspension tuning, i have a few things to change. i have the lower control arm relocation brackets and i am using the bottom hole of them. since my car isnt lowered they are pitched too much so i need to move them up to the middle hole. with the power i am making it should 60' in the mid to low 1.2 range. i ahve about 20 passes on it since the 406 install and have not spun the tires yet. it definitely works but there is always room for improvement.

What effect would you have with them at the top hole?

the top hole is the stock mounting point. there are 2 others beneath it.

the palte mounts up in the trans/driveshaft tunnel. pretty easy to install and you never have to worry about cracking the tailshaft of the transmission due to the torque arm being mounted to it.
