Jay-Roll, where are my parts?

Jason,

You've been dragging our transaction out for too long. First it's your vacation, then a shipping problem, you keep promising a tracking number, now you won't return e-mails yet you continue to post on the board. I don't think that for such a small amount of money that you would risk your reputation.......

WTF IS YOUR PROBLEM??? I have already emailed you and explained why I hadn't responded to your last email. I Last emailed you on Tuesday and didn't get back to emailing you until today which is Thursday and your making me look like some *** saying I'm trying to avoid you and not returning your emails. I told you before you even sent the money order I was going on vacation and said not to send it if you had a problem with that. You said no problem and that you would wait until I got back because you were in no hurry. Then I had the shipping problem but it was resolved in less than 2 days and the parts have already been sent. Things don't magically happen overnight so just because the parts haven't arrived yet doesn't mean I screwed you or something. You've hijacked several of the threads I've posted on and are doing your best to drag my name through the mud over something very simple and just a small miscalculation. I never once tried to mess with you, I have always emailed you promptly and have had an honest answer to everything you have ever asked. I told you my computer dumped on me and I was down for a few days so I couldn't check my yahoo email account. I can surf the net at work but my boss doesn't want us checking personal email, there's been a problem in the past with people getting virus's and things. You have not only made an *** of yourself but tried your best to make an *** out of me. After in another thread you already came back and said, oh I hoped it was something simple and you now got my email so everything has cooled down, you still come back to this thread and ttt on me? You need to relax big time, I have never once tried to hide anything, screw you in any way or anything. If your $75 bucks is that much of a big deal I'll return it and you go through the trouble of sending the parts back to me and I'll sell them elsewhere. I have been upfront with everything so don't go trying to give everyone else a poor impression of me. When you get the parts you better come back on here and set things straight instead of just letting it go and making me look bad. Jeezus!

Jason,

now you're gettin me pissed me off........... I posted this is several places because you stopped communicating, you not once provided any proof that anything was being done for WEEKS (like what you promised to do). I've seen many scammers on this board and they all do the same thing. Excuses, drag things out, etc. Not once did I call you a scammer, what I did do was try to get your attention. You appeared to ignore my e-mails while you continued to post on the board. This went on for several days. Now keep in mind by this time, I have already waited through your vacation, I waited for almost another week and still had no tracking numbers, so far nothing but delays and excuses (whether real or not, yet to be determined) no communication since monday night and you continued to post. This thread was started before I even received your e-mail. Since I didn't ever call you a scammer, I'll be damned if I'll apologize for that, but when the stuff you sold me arrives, everything to do with this will be erased and all will be well. I had been giving you the benefit of the doubt from the very beginning. From you going on vacation, problems with shipping, etc. I still have a hard time understanding how you can surf the net, post on message forums yet not be able to check a yahoo e-mail? Had you said that your home ISP e-mail was down, I would have bought that.

So many times the scammer story is the same. I was away.....My computer was down, there's a problem shipping, finally no response to e-mails........ i just saw all these fairly quickly and decided to call things into question early. I even tried to PM you first, you for whatever reason aren't accepting PM's.

Again, I am not calling you a scammer, it's just things sure appeared to be the same old story. You see, I tried everything I could except wait for an eternity. When the stuff arrives Ill post you as a good seller. Until then, I am covering my butt too. You would have most likely done the same thing.

When I am wrong, I apologize like a man. When I don't get a consistant stories, I get concerned. When I give people the benefit of the doubt who still don't seem to follow though, I speak out. Now my name could potentially be dragged though the mud for speaking out when something wasn't right. I still felt like I was getting the brush off, and that's the bottom line. Of course when the stuff arrives, I will post that I got the parts. There is still mucho room for improvement on his end as well. I'm too old to play games, I've been building hot rods for 25 years and I'm not going to let shady appearing business practices that can potentially take money out of my pocket just go by silently.

Seems to me I remember you getting into the fray once about not getting parts........ You seemed pretty bent then.

not saying your a scammer but he's right...a scammer always has the same story. email, out of town, etc...communication is key when doing transactions. Find away to contant your buyer if something magically happens to your computer.

You keep getting into this situation of exaggerating. You say you waited for WEEKS but that just isn't true. You waited a week when I was on vacation, which you even stated you preferred I waited until I got back to take care of the transaction. I even offered to have one of my roomates take care of it when I was gone so you could get the stuff sooner....remember? Also the stuff was sent out earlier this week and the last you heard from me was Tuesday up until today. So if you went for this entire week waiting and it was NEXT week that would have been 2 weeks. Hardly several weeks as you make it sound. Also as I stated to you I never said I couldn't surf the net at work, hence why I was still posting on here and doing my everyday normal bs online. BUT!!! I am not allowed to check personal email IE: yahoo, hotmail, etc. at work because we've had past problems with people receiving virus's through their emails and crashing the system, I told you that in the post about 3 people up if you would read it. I haven't been trying to drag my feet at all I've been very prompt in emailing you on a regular basis(sometimes several times in a single day) just to keep you fully informed as to where things were at. Just because you emailed me twice...once saying "I hope things went out ok" and another wondering why I've been avoiding your emails you thing I am just blowing you off and scammed you. Patience is the key here, I have never given you any reason to suspect me as a scammer, and although I see where your coming from you didn't even give me a chance before you started stating I was avoiding you. Implying I'm a scammer(which you've done) is the same thing as saying I'm a scammer and that's what I don't appreciate. I could go on forever about this. My point is, when you get the parts, just deleting this post isn't going to fix things now that half the people on this board have a poor impression of me. You now need to come back to this post and responde as to what you recieved, the condition it was in, and acknowledge your poor judge of character. I'm not looking for an apology, in fact I already apologized to you for the delay and stated I wasn't trying to waste your time and was sorry if I had. Keep in mind also this box is the size of a frickin car hood, not something you can just throw in the back seat and run to the shipping station, which takes time and a little planning just to get to where it's shipping out at. I don't have a truck so I had to arrange to borrow my work's truck to take it to UPS which didn't work out well as you know, then arrange to take it to where Greyhound ships out from and ended up doing it on work time so you could get it asap. I'm just asking you to think before you act and take everything into account, I've hardly done anything like hide something from you so obviously you should know. As far as my PM box goes, I have like 3 things in there so I have no idea why I can't get msg's, can anyone else chime in for me? I can't seem to use the search function if I'm logged in either.

That is exactly my point. Not more. Had there been consistant, not just constant communication, I would not have even thought twice. It's when all things start adding on that it raises the warning flags.

I stated I was going out of town before he even sent the money. I recommended not to send the money until confirmation I had returned if that concerned him...he stated it didn't and sent the cash anyway. Communication has hardly been a concern here also, we exchanged emails probably 20-30 times(I have all the past emails from him stored and there has to be atleast 10-15 from him and almost the same in return to him, I also have the ones I sent out stored as well). Like I said earlier up until about 2 days ago he sometimes recieved emails from me several times a day. This whole situation has put a very bad feeling in my stomach.

Let me give it to you short and sweet.....

My job is training customer service for a multi million dollor high ticket retail company. The kind of customer service where people pay as much as a house on items that there is no need for, they are luxury items. It is totally catering to the customer. Now I am not trying to compare you to that kind of service, were talking about a cheap part. What I am saying is that I know the difference between what is right and what is wrong, I have been teaching that as a career for the last 15 years with that same company. you cannot just cry exaggeration, I stated the facts. I have yet to state my opinion. If you keep trying to blame me because of whatever challenges you were facing, my opinion won't be that great. Since you said you shipped the stuff, I will just wait for the stuff to arrive, then I will do exactly as I promised. Funny though, that from your end, I haven't seen one thing that you said was going to happen so I have to again give you the benefit........

One thing Jason, you have no clue as to how ethical I really am. one day, I hope you find out and then ask yourself one question: "Could I possibly have been wrong and that he wasn't trying to be an @sshole?"

Nope.... now tell the truth. You didn't mention that until after I had sent the money.

Here was the first e-mail telling you I sent the dough and you replied:

Here's the next one when you decide to tell me you're leaving:

I wont post the whole e-mail, but you get the drift.

At that time you said you were leaving out of town for a week, the payment had not arrived and that a roomate could take care of it and I balked. That's when I first got worried. Then I waited patiently until you got back, and you didn't ship when you said you would. The excuse was that the shipping place was closed on Saturday and Sunday. Then You did try Monday and ran into problems. You e-mailed me Monday, I replied with a address that you can ship to using Greyhound. You replied back that you'll send it out that night. (Monday night or Tuesday 12:55 am if you want a technicality of when it was suppoed to go out) You said you would let me know if it was sucessfully sent out and would once again provide a tracking number. Something that was promised before and then nothing since that last message from you on Monday.

That's the facts, plain and simple. I ethically stand by them. I can foreward the original e-mails to anyone for verification.
