It's a Z28 annv edition or whatever they call it, cloth seats, driver pwr seat, pwr windows & locks, premium sound, coupe no t-tops,6-speed, 37,500 miles for 19,998, under the hood the air leaner cover said SLP and the exaust had flat outlets on both sides, sounded real good and ran good, the kid at the stealer didn't know much about it but said it had SLP options, my question is do all Anniversaery cars have the SLP package, and just what is that package, does this give more HP than a regular z28,this car does not have ram air, Is this a good price, or is just average, It's white with grey Int.. Sorry for so many questions but any feedback would be aprreciated.

 

you should go back and look inside of it for slp stickers on the inside of the car. ive heard theyre in the glove box, center console, or on the driver door with the rpo's. while youre there, get the rpo's and get online and look them up (or ask someone what they are) and they'll tell you what options the car came with.

but, just so you know. i just bought a 99 formula with 22xxx miles for 12000. i know its not a z, but you get the idea. if you want, and if i were you, i would look at this car. the guy whos selling it posts on the eastern fbody forum, and is a real good guy. i would definately check out the car.

 

I've heard some people say the SLP sticker is on the passenger door..

I can't remember if it's on the driver or passenger, though..

Thanks guys, If it's still here this weekend I'll go get the rpo #s and look for some slp stickers, I don't think I'd give em more than 18,000 with those miles, I really want a SS, and I would pay a little more for a SS, there is a nice RED one with white stripes if it hasn't sold yet, But I couldn't own a RED car, they look nice when they belong to some one else, if that SS was a different color I would have looked at it real seriusly.

does it say its an ss snywhere on the car? cause if it says its a z/28 then it wasnt altered by slp,and yes it would say its been altered by slp on the door above the vin # sticker,however this dosent mean that it dosent have slp parts they are very easy parts you can get from a variety of shops. hope that helps some.

 

Theres no factory SLP parts on the car unless its an SS. That price is pretty high, I'd keep looking. I know a guy that got an 02Z with every option and 20k on it for $16,000

 

I didn't see SS any where on it, it did have the Z28 badging, I did look on the door, I was looking to see if it had Z rated tires, it did, But the tires on it, didn;t have a Z in the sizeing, It did a have a sticker above the tire sticker and it a bunch of numbers on it, and I m guessing that was the option numbers, but I didn't look any closer than that, I also want an Auto tranny, I really don't want to be shiftin all the time, but wouldn't rule out a 6-sp. and in the Auto tranny cars, what is the code and where would I find it, for the LOWEST rear gear (such as, a, 3.23, is lower than a 2.75)

 

I think your right, Iv'e seen quite a few with a lot less miles for not that much more or the same, on cars.com a nd auto trader, think I'll keep lookin,

 

An 02 with 10400 miles on it for 16000, what wrong with it That sounds pretty low from what I'm seein out on this coast, wish you where closer, I would look at it, I would really like an SS, but will settle for a nice Z. Good luck selling it.
