Hotcammed LT1 for sale!
Hotcammed LT1 for sale!
Well it's about time for a blower motor, since I got my Vortech the other day. I have a recently professionally rebuilt (5k miles) LT1 complete from pan to fuel rails, (with opti) motor that is currenly in my WS6. Ported heads, 2.0" intake valves, 3 angle race valve job, LT4 hot cam, LT4 springs, proform roller rockers. The engine sounds great and pulls HARD from 2,000 to above 6,000 (I had my rev limiter set at 6,500). I ran it this past Saturday at the local track, and the corrected ET was a 12.9 at 112 (with a 2.3xx 60 ft on the street tires
). The car is a 6 speed, very heavy, has no weight reduction, shorty headers, ram air, and basically no other speed mods. Before I got the madwolf tune it loped nicely (especially after a cold start
).
I will pull the engine out once it sells. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, it has never seen nitrous or boost (my other TA is the spray car.) The only reason I am selling is because I do not want to run boost on this motor due to the high compression. I need some forged dish pistons
.
The motor is perfect for a street car that occasionally sees the track. I destroyed a stock cammed Z28 on Saturday immediately upon getting traction, and this engine made me trap almost 10 mph higher than his.
If you are anywhere near the panhandle of TX I would love to show you the engine, let you listen to it and give you a ride in the car. I would prefer a local pick up, but I realize this is probably not going to happen. I am asking $2k, or $1500 and your old motor. With all the parts and work that have gone into this engine, you could not build one for this price unless you have your own machine shop and did it all yourself. Please PM me if interested.

Re: Hotcammed LT1 for sale!
Guys I have heard and seen this car run. Very nice aggressive tone and you can just listen to it and tell it was built right with top of the line parts. This guy helped me rebuild my motor and he knows what he is doing. Best of luck selling Will and if you need help shipping this I fixed that stand we took mine home on and you are welcome to get it back and ship it with that
Nice motor at a great price guys!!
