Would that intake work on my car...i have a 87..center bolt heads...

 

It is a non vortec head, as far as i know it will fit centerbolt heads. It was bolted on a 89 bird, but with regular heads, non centerbolt. Maybe somebody else could let us know if it fits?

no, it will not fit. you have to buy a special intake for 87-later heads(center-bolt heads).. however, you can modify the middle bolt holes on the intake to fit the cast iron center-bolt heads. I did it to the torqer II i have for sale and it works fine.

 

James, I talked to my friend, he said you just elongate teh middle holes in the intake. Basically you drill them out a bit and rock the drill back and forth, not too hard. Let me know if you want the intake, i have paypal.
