Gauging intrest in 96 Z28

I'm looking to sell my 96 Z28 to get an LS1, but I want to see if it'll get me enough money to get an LS1 (in addition to what I already have.) I need to get about 5600 for it. It's in pretty good shape overall, no problems known mechanicly. New waterpump, SLP CAI, flowmaster exhaust. Its a six speed with T-tops. The interior is very clean. It's got 101,000 miles. The main problem is a bad looking nose. I tried to repaint it but the color didn't match. It looks decent, you can't tell from a distance, but up close it is pretty noticeable. I still have the bra, should I just cover it up with that? Or get the El Cheapo Maaco over the whole car? About what do you think I could get for this car? Thanks alot. Hey, if you want to buy it, let me know. The car is in Jackonville, Fl. As you can see, I've been as honest about it as I could be. Thanks.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but I doubt your going to get much more than about $3000-$3500 in that condition.

he could ask for $25K if he wanted, but that doesn't mean he'll get it.

its curb appeal, if you walk up to a car needing the front end ripped off to make it look reaosnable, then you aren't going to get much.

Spend $500 or $600 hundred if you can't do the work yourself and its worth $2k or more. Otherwise, your going to get less than $4k.

My car is mint, and mod'd up the butt and I'd be lucky to get $10k for it and its in showroom condition. I took it to a couple dealers and they're offering 3-4k on a trade, so thats a 2-3k mark up, so a perfect one is worth 6-7k, what ya think something less is worth?

Go ahead and buy it yourself then guys, to me it wouldn't be worth more than 2-3K as a beater to be honest.

The prices are smashing down on these cars right now.

trade in $3-4k?? of course trade in will give you nothing,ha and sell urs for $6-7k?? they will for sure try to sell it for more then $7k, they let me people pay payments they'd probabyl ask around $10k,the thing that hurts u is the auto, he has a 6spd and there in demand like crazy over autos, we both have diff opinions im just saying u should have let his car just try to sella nd if noone buys it then none buys it, but its not cool to tell him his price is wrong in his post, a PM would have been nice, goodluck w the sell idiotwz28

He was asking what we thought, the mileage and a bad front kills him.
