Lightbulb FS: Z28 Rolling Chassis (1994)

I have a 1994 Z28 rolling chassis for sale. I originally bought the car with the intent of rebuilding the engine and transmission and selling the car, but have decided to modify the motor and tranny and put in my other Camaro.

This car is a black hardtop A4 with 120k miles on it. The car is in decent condition and has a good title (although I am waiting to get the title back from the state). It is complete except for the engine, transmission, exhaust (could be included), ECU, engine harness, engine compartment harness, and radiator (could be included). The body of the car is very straight with no major dings or dents. The car has been painted several times and was originally patriot red. In my opinion the car needs to be repainted, but from 15ft away it looks good.

To be as informative and fair as possible, here is a list of things you need to know:

1) Paint – There are several spots that need attention, or completely repainted. It appears that the car was painted with acrylic enamel (not base coat / clear coat) and has some fish-eyeing, etc in the finish. There are also a few spots that obviously were not sanded very well and the paint is chipped off showing the underlying color (ex. – fender edges).
2) Body – The body is very straight with no significant dings or dents. The car had a body kit on it at one time and has adhesive around the lower panels that needs to be removed.
3) Chassis, Suspension, and Remaining Drivetrain– The chassis is straight and is in good shape. The driveshaft and suspension are in good condition. The OEM wheels are included and are in good condition (needs new tires).
4) Interior – For the most part, the interior is in good shape. The driver’s seat has been replaced with another OEM seat and does not match the original leather/cloth seats. It also has a small tear on the side of it. The car has an aftermarket steering wheel. Some of the dash and vent panels have been painted and/or have wood trim cover panels to match the steering wheel.

That about covers it I think. This would make a great project or race car. I am asking $1800 OBO. If anyone is interested, please contact me... Email Me
