FS: TSP 2002 Sunset Orange Heads/Cam SS

Well, it's time to put my 2002 SS up for sale. It's been a BLAST, but it's time to move on to a C5 and C6. I'm building up a '99 twin turbo FRC C5, and we expect to take delivery of our black/ebony C6 at the Corvette Museum around mid-November.

I bought my SS new in August 2001 in San Antonio, Texas. The car has 18,500 miles on the odometer, and it has right at 4,500 miles on the new engine, 4L60E transmission, and rearend. It retains the factory sunset orange paint with ebony leather interior, and it also has t-tops. I drove it to Dallas and back (800-mile round-trip) over Labor Day and got 25 MPG! Here is what will come with the car:

*Rollmaster Adjustable Double-Roller Heat-Treated Timing Set with Torrington Bearing
*TSP 231/231, .598"/.598", 112 LSA Camshaft

*Factory GM 1.7:1 Roller Rocker Arms
*ASP Underdrive Crankshaft Pulley
*Custom TSP Dyno Tuning
*Walbro 255 lph In-Tank Fuel Pump

TRANSMISSION
*Professionally-built 4L60E
*HD 3-4 Power Pack with Alto Red Eagle Clutches
*HD Kevlar Wide Band
*4th Super Servo
*2-3 Check Valve Update
*HP Slide Spring
*TransGo Shift Kit
*TCI Competition 3800 Stall Speed Torque Converter

*BMR Tubular Panhard Rod, Black
*BMR 1" Lowering Springs
*New Factory DeCarbon Shocks/Struts
*Factory GM Torque Arm
*BMR Boxed Subframe Connectors, Black

SLP FACTORY-INSTALLED OPTIONS
*Front Black SS Grille Insert
*Camaro SS Key Fobs
*Camaro SS Dash Plaque

*Camaro SS Rear Deck Mat

WHEELS/TIRES
*Fikse FM5 17"x9.5" Wheels Up Front
*Fikse FM5 17"x11" Wheels In Back
*Goodyear Eagle F-1 275/40/17" Tires Up Front
*NEW Nitto 315/35/17" 555 Drag Radials In Back
*Chrome Lug Nuts

The car has been nothing but fun from the day I bought it. I installed the subframe connectors two days after purchasing the car to keep from developing squeaks and rattles. It has been meticulously maintained and has been clayed and Zaino'd from day one. The car is setup for XM satellite radio should you be interested. You will not find a nicer SS around, and it gets a LOT of looks between the sunset orange paint and lowered setup with FM5's. It is a low-mileage car with a fun, reliable setup. Pictures are available upon request, so just shoot me an e-mail at trevor@texas-speed.com if you are interested. The car is located in Lubbock, Texas. I am asking $22,500 as the car sits or $21,000 with a set of GM painted 10-spoke SS wheels. This is one of 243 sunset orange SS coupes built in 2002.

Let me know if any of you have any questions or concerns.

Would you be interested in selling the wheels if you did not sell them with the car? Let me know, very interested

Car sounds awesome-do you have any pics you could send? I'm thinking about selling my car and this would be fun to own. Send them to erock306@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Erik

Quicksilver - No, I'm attempting to sell the car as is. However, even if I did sell just the wheels and tires, I have no less than six local guys already wanting them. LOL They seem to sell well.

Pics have been sent!

Trevor
would you be willing to part with the Lid?
I need a TPS lid because they are a lower profile design than the rest. I am trying to make it fit a Lt1, but i heard that TSP has switched lid makers and you have none in stock. I hate to ask for part off a car that you are trying to sell as a hole but i cant wait a month for a lid.

How does $100.00 strike you?

Please consider my offer

Brady - I do appreciate the offer, but the car has already been sold with all of the parts in place. The new owner would be pretty mad if I sold the lid off of it before he picked it up.

Give me a call if you're interested in a "scratch & dent" clear lid. We have a handful that have blemishes (i.e. scratches, scuffs, etc.) that we'd sell for a discounted price.

Thanks!
