FS: Gen I 383ci SBC - 500HP - CHEAP
010 block
steel GM crank
GM pink rods
10:1 pistons
HV Oilpump
Dart DRT007 cast heads.
180 cc intake runner, 2.02X1.65 valves
roller tip rockers
hardend push rods, guide plates
Edelbrock Airgap intake
The motor is currently in shortblock form but was running great when pulled and disassembled. This motor came from a 68 Chevelle that was parked in 2004 and sat until the summer of 2006. The motor has not been started since it was put away in a climate controlled enviorment in 04.
I tore down the motor with the plan of updating the heads and cam. I would personally go through the motor, but the heads could be slapped on and run as is. It includes a timing set and cam but am unsure of the specs. It was rated for 500 BHP. Less than 1k of street break in miles on the motor; cross hatching is still in the cylinders with zero scores, nicks, marks. All new parts at the time of rebuild. Would make a great winter project with less than 300 dollars in parts and you'd have one heck of a great street motor!

This motor is currently located in Minneapolis, MN. I will considering meeting part-way in the mid-west or delivering for cost.
