FAST system
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
lt1 fast system w/tci trans controller w/wideband 02 sensor. I know many like the lt1 edit but it does not compare to the adversity of the fast system. the wide band o2 and the ability to data long 1/4 passes makes this the safest way to tune your car.
heres Jim Morans (speed inc master tunner) explanation of the stock computer limitations. why go with fast ecu?
"Stock PCM is running blind, meaning no positive manifold pressure measured by map sensor, and the maf sensor is maxed out. So, the computer cannot compensate for boost fluctuations, and also requires 2 programs for low/high boost. Also, timing can only be set by RPM, and cannot be changed VS (positive) manifold pressure.
Aftermarket PCM is tuned off of manifold pressure, therefore self compensating for different boost levels, and the ability to have timing changes RPM and manifold pressure-based. Also, you can run closed loop WOT with a wideband. Etc,etc.
So, yes it can be done with a stock PCM, but at this level, aftermarket engine management is a safer and more accurate way to tune."
I wont to get $1600 for the entire system.
I can take charge card and if you live in IL I can get you 90 days same as cash.
