I am not totally up on what needs done to heads to adapt springs, but, what kind of machining are we talking about with these? Would the heads need removed to do it?

djm_e22 already PM'd me regarding just the cam, so it looks like its sold. The spring pockets need to be enlarged to accomodate the larger diameter springs so yes, the heads would have to come off for that.

If for some reason djm_e22 backs out, then mojorisin is next in line. I'll let you know.

Not to barge in on your thread, but you can run those springs without enlarging the spring pockets. I agree that's the best way but Comp makes a seat locater part number 4770-16 that will work without machining the heads. I ran a set like that for a long time without issues and believe a number of other guys are/have done the same thing. At any rate thought this might make it an easier sale for you. These are very nice springs and can handle high lift cams without float. Good luck to you.

Are the springs still available?
If so, I may buy them within a few days if no one buys my CC306 camshaft and put it on my B-body one day afterall.
Let me know.
