There is over 15k in custom parts and paint on the car. Car Took First at World Of Wheels Car show in Feb 2004. I have Lots of Pics for who ever wants to see them. Car is in Perfect Shape. No Scratches or Dents. I babied this thing but it's time to go.

The post I read said "rolling chassis" which where I went to school means "no engine or tranny" just to clarify the already crystal clear.

Yeah, but some people have no sense of humor, or value for that matter

Re: Custom 96Z Rolling Chassis

I know that the $8000 may seem high for a rolling chassis but this car is perfect and has a ton a $$$ already into it. All you need to do to finish this thing is a Motor and Trans. Not alot of cash if you want it to be a daily driver and this is the perfect car to buy if someone wants to build a race/show car. It is all set-up and ready to go. If not I will be putting the stock motor and trans back in the car and selling it that way..

$8000 obo for Rolling Chassis
$11,000 for Complete car Running

Re: Custom 96Z Rolling Chassis

Somnambulist: Is that a smart a$$ comment?

Here is a list if you need to know:

Paint and Body work with SS Hood and SS Spoiler. $8200
Baer Brakes $1200
BMR Suspension about $2000+
Z06 Rims and Tires $1800
Kenny Brown Roll Cage $600 plus $250 more for custom Paint to match car
Re-Cover Front Leather Seats $900

So That Totals what?? About $15,000 without shipping and tax on any parts and that is also without the CAR. If you think $8000 is to much thats fine don't post then.

It all goes back to....If you dont have something nice to say, dont say anything at all.

I have no idea why even I am in this post, but it does however bother me when no one in this post is even interested in this mans car, but have the time to question what he has spent and what he is asking for his ride....mind boggling

And BTW I have over 8k in my rolling chassis with stock paint and hood, no roll bar.

Somnambulist: Sorry I misunderstood your post. I apologize.

FASTFATBOY: Thanks for the post.. Its not cheap to build these cars and its even harder to sell them when everyone wants to give you bottom dollar for it.
