Stage 3 ported LT1 heads & valvetrain for sale

These heads have been recently re-ported from stage ll to stage lll & not re-installed. Original LT1 castings off my motor (about 41K original miles) with complete valvetrain, including Comp magnum rockers, LS1 Beehive springs, manley 2.02/1.56 valves.

These heads would be killer on a 350 or 355CI car, but won't support my 396 & cam choice.

I can provide complete valvetrain part #'s and complete flow numbers to serious inquiries only, Flow charts go to the buyer of course. There is at least $3,000 worth of heads, porting and valve train parts, all available in an already completed package, new for all practical purposes, ready to bolt on.

Make me an offer - I need the money, but I'm not given 'em away!

Many thanks
Mark

Absolutely! I made 360/370 on mine before the stroker motor with these same heads BEFORE they were redone using the CC306 and an auto tranny.

Just to give you a little background, I did the heads and cam (exhaust, etc, etc, etc) and put maybe 1,000 miles on the set up when I started the auto-m6 conversion. In the middle of that, I fell into a great deal on a stroker and these heads have never been used again.

These are my original heads, so yes they have been used. The car had about 41K miles on it I think... but since then, they have been re-ported (stage II to stage III) and have not been re-installed - so the heads are spotless and all the valvetrain components are like new - in fact the only parts that aren't brand new is the Magnum rockers, and like I said... maybe 1,000 miles.

I am hoping to get $2K for the complete set. That is at least a grand less than you can have your own heads done to stage III and buy the valvetrain too - AND you wouldn't have to wait months to get them done! That is a heck of a deal.

Not at all... in a 350, I think that you could expect 380rwhp with a good exhaust, tune, etc. - all the components add up to a big number, but I was running 360rwhp/380tq before the stroker swap when it was still a 350 auto BEFORE they were re-ported with a 224/236 cam.

With an M6 you should make up that difference AND they have been ported more since that dyno run.

Re: Complete ported LT1 heads for sale

I'm just curious. Do you just cruise the for sale section f***ing with people? I was just wondering since you don't seem to actually be interested in purchasing them, but always want something. Copies of the actual flow charts are available to anyone who is interested in buying them - they only have to ask and I will fax/email a copy. In the meantime, here are the numbers as closely as I can read them off the chart:
Intake Lift Exhaust
148 .200 120
210 .300 160
249 .400 180
278 .500 190
293 .600 212

There is no conspiracy here, but I don't feel it necessary to justify anything to you. You seem to think that you can find a set of fully prepped and ported stage III heads complete with valve train (full details, including part numbers are available for that too) for $1,000.

My friend... knock yourself out. Feel free to price them yourself and you will see that my asking price is actually extremely low.

Re: Complete ported LT1 heads for sale

im not messing with anyone i was just curous becuase 1750 is high for as set of lt1 cast heads, now if the numbers are true (not that they arent) but were they flowed with a pipe and a was it at 28" of water. and what kind of bench was it flowed on, becuase read high compared to others.

by the way a stage 1 maybe someone elses stage 3. so that means nothing

so i guess i got a stage 4.

and if you only got 360 rwhp with those heads and a 224/236 thats not impresive to me, maybe there was another issue somewhere.

i hope you sell them and whoever gets them has great luck with them

and im not cruising the board starting trouble. i was acctually thinking of purchasing them but i have a set now. done by loyd elliot.

good luck

.
