Where are you located?
What does the short dowel pin denote, can it only be used on certain years or certain timing chains?

 

I'm located in central PA, the short dowel is for non vented opti I believe. I had it in a GenI roller block. If using vented opti, a machine shop could either pull it out as I just pressed it in about .030 or install a new long one.
