built 700r4 for sale w/2,200rpm stall
The manual bug has bitten me, and I have been offered a very good deal on a complete T-56 conversion. However, I don't have enough money to buy it outright, so I'm putting my transmission up for sale.
Its a 1989 core with the auxillary valve body and strengthened internals. New clutches, and steels, trans-go shift kit, vette servo, .500" boost valve, and a 2,200rpm stall. The transmission only has 500 miles on it as I just had it rebuilt last summer. The transmission cost me over a grand to have it rebuilt, but the time window for the T56 setup is limited.
$800 firm with the stall.
I also have a SLP 2,400rpm tc from my last transmission that I'll throw in for free, however the SLP stall might need a rebuild as the previous transmission fried a few clutches and I didn't want to reuse the TC without first rebuilding it. But its collecting dust in my garage. If I sell off this transmission I'll have no use for the SLP TC anymore.

Re: built 700r4 for sale w/2,200rpm stall
Just want to clarify. Both converters are lock-up. The one in the car now is a 2,200rpm stall. The SLP converter is a 2,400rpm stall, but it came out of a transmission that had destroyed all of its frictions so I put it aside. I suppose its possible to use the SLP as is, but it could be like playing russian roulette.
