Brand New LE2 Heads for sale.
Brand New LE2 Heads for sale.
Lloyd had these for sale on this forum. I snatched them, then found out for me to rebuild my engine is going to cost a bit more than expected. So I will just use my LE1 heads I already have. I live about 45 minutes from Lloyd and I haven't picked the heads up yet. So if you want a upgrade on the valve springs. Here are the prices. These are the same prices he gave me. Look up nighttrain66 threads if you like to double check.
$1000 LE2 with the already LT4 hot cam valve springs on them
or
$1250 LE2 if he upgrades to the Patriot Gold Extreme valve springs
These are the heads quoted by Lloyd.
"I have a set of LE2 heads that I just completed. These are using LT4 2.00/1.55 hollow stem valves and LT4 Hot cam springs instead of the Manley 2.00/1.56 valves and Patriot Gold extreme springs that I usually use"
"They flow 279/198 @ .600 lift"
Now back to me.
I believe the LT4 valves might even be better than the Manley valves due to the lightness of the valves. LT4 valves I think are also sodium filled to reduce heat. The flow numbers are also a hair better than what his LE2's are advertised on site.
Also I'll make these prices $150 cheaper if you give me your current Lt1 heads. I'm debating on making my wife's 68' camaro into an LT1 later on.
