How about a 360hp '79 Jeep CJ5 w/ AMC 360? 12" of lift in the suspention alone, plenty of room for up to 38" tires which would give you another 3 1/2 inches Its in great shape!

Shoot me some pictures and more details. Street legal and drivable? What tires are on it now? What axles are under there? gears? send me whatever info you can provide...I have a 90 I've been thinking about building up, but one that's aleady close may not be bad....

SloMofo, shoot me some details on your stuff too

Everyone else, thanks for your attempts at humorous responses..if nothing else they keep bumping up my thread

'79 CJ5, freshly rebuilt 360 w/ Summit 8600 cam, new rings, main bearings, rod bearings, double roller timing chain, valve springs and seals. Motor has a tun of power!! approx. 200 miles on the motor since it was redone. New Distributor. New MC2150. CJ T-18 w/ Dana 20. New clutch and cut flywheel. Widetrack Dana 30 up front, Dana 44 w/ limited slip in the back 3.30 gears, SOA (spring over axle) & 4" springs. Frame is in very good shape, no rust by rear sping hanger. Soft Top. Fenderwell Headers. Paint is in Great shape! Floor boards are not rusted! All new breaks done with the SOA. New Radiator. Manual breaks. Full roll cage.

Included w/ Jeep:
4 33" Mud Kings approx 1/4 tread left, extra Dana 20, original T-150 trans (needs rebuild), Bikini top, 4 chrome stock wagon wheels (same as on currently), Set of stock YJ springs, Front RE CJ to YJ conversion shackles.

It has new 31" tires I got for it before the SOA, maybe 1000 miles on them. Has 2 small cracks in the paint, one about 6" long and the other is about 4" long and the windshield hinge on the pass side needs to be repainted. I am in the middle of making a stearing arm from the pitman to the axle out of DOM tubing. Has power steering but needs new hoses. Depends on your laws as to weather its street legal, reason being with the wider axles the tires stick out a bit. Just needs flairs if thats a problem where you live. Oh yea and the previous owner installed a captains chair in the pass side ..

Phil, you hit one of my weaknesses..

two of them actually. Drop me a PM or email with all the details you can muster and some pictures. The more info the better...that would mean less bugging you with questions
