Just wondering if any of you all know this fellow fbody owner that just screwed me over. He said he would trade me his taillights for my clear ones plus he was going to give me $50. So i send him mine and his says he sent his to me, but he has mine and i have none and no money. And he won't answer any emails or anything.anyway i'm pissed now. here is his name and all.

Dang man, that sucks.....what if the moderaters created somekind of verification method or something to prevent this stuff from happening...

 

yeah i wish it could be prevented, but it is always going to happen. i can't understand why some people act the way they do. Who are the mods i can pm?

A couple of questions-

1. How did that happen (most require $ up front)?
2. Do you have emails/proof of the deal/FedEx-UPS-USPS tracking for what you sent him (need this for theft complaint)?

Since this is basically a low $ deal, it will probably cost more to follow up on it than it is worth.

I would contact the cops in Springfield & file a theft complaint for the value of what you sent him.

People (crooks) like this gives online deals a bad reputation. I guess this is why alot of people use COD and like to check out the buyer's screen name for any prior problems before dealing.

My brother just called me. He lives in Springfield, just drove by there and he didn't see a Camaro in the driveway. Just a red Ford Explorer, an Olds Alero and a Caddy STS... "OLD LADY" on the plates.

He said he'd be happy to go by again... and probably would've stopped if there'd been a Camaro in the driveway.

Do what a buddie of mine did...find a site that has satellite aerial views of houses in the US., type in his address and send it to him with a "nice" brief statement of how you have some vacation time coming up and will be paying him a visit! It scared the @#$% out of my friends seller, and he got a refund in a week. He would have been out $1200
