Air injection pipe needed! Asap!

Re: Air injection pipe needed! Asap!
The thread on the Hawks stuff is where I would go; they are pretty good about our cars They have sets for 93-95, then a different set for 95-97. I would call them and ask about the differences.

Odd it doesn’t fit. I've been telling people it’s M22-1.5 for years, and never got any negative feedback. Is it possible the soft nut on the end of your stock pipe was significantly deformed when you unscrewed it from the manifold, making it slightly oval? I've seen some all bent up from the removal process.
A metric thread would not be expressed as 18 threads per inch. It should be a 22mm 1.5mm pitch. A 1.5mm pitch works out to 16.93 TPI. The M22-1.5 is a common oil drain plug for some Cummins Diesel engines and several foreign cars. Can sometimes be found at auto parts stores. I used to have a link to a shop in Canada that sold them for less than $3 each. I have them in my AS&M headers. I used thin copper washers with them. That said, I never tried to screw the M22-1.5 plugs into my stock manifolds.
Dorman makes an inexpensive replacement.

Re: Air injection pipe needed! Asap!
It's been a while, but for some reason, I am remembering mine being M18x1.5. Like I said, it has been years since I have plugged mine. If I remember right it was the same size as me o2's.

Re: Air injection pipe needed! Asap!
i plugged the air fittings on my headers with dorman oil pan drain plugs 65226. they are 3/4 - 16 , came with a copper washer and fit perfectly. bought them from summitt but you could probably get them at an auto parts store
