AFR 227 heads for sale

I have a brand new set of afr 227 i bought them back in febuary and never got the chance to use them the flow 300 cfm and the springs are good to 670 lift. They are for roller cams i am going with a different head the allpro rasied runner head. i paid like 1500 for them through doug herbert but will sell them for 1150 shipped obo. These are regular sbc but will be a great lt1 head with the reverse cooling mod done to them.

What do you have to do to convert them to work on an LT1 and how much would that run?

To convert to LT1 heads I believe you have to weld the coolant openings on the intake side, cut open 2 coolant holes on the block side for the LT1 block, then tap for the coolant tube that runs across from head to head.
