Thumbs up 96-97 Camaro SS Blackwing High Flow Air Filter

i do, ive got 2 different K&N filters. one has vertical lines the other horizonal. one i got from yearone.com and i guess its not the correct one for the car. then my 96 came with a shorter one, supposibly the right one, but looks like a worse fit.

The K&N filters technically aren't the proper size as they aren't tall enough. The width and length are a match but they are about 1/2 inch short. From what I understand, the K&N filter can bounch around a little but but I have no idea if that will affect the performance or not.
