95 Z28 With S-trim needs work...
My Camaro spun a rod bearing a couple of months ago.. And now unfortunately I think its time to part ways with this car.
I know I’m going to be taking a hit selling this car with it in this state but it’s what I have to do. I'm incredibly busy at work and don't have the time to fix it.
It’s a black, A4, with t-tops.
Performance mods:
Vortech V1 S-trim Supercharger pushing 6lbs of post-intercooler boost
Vortech air/water intercooler
24lb/hr Ford SVO injectors
Vortech FMU
Crane fireball ignition with boost retard
Autometer boost gauge in pillar pod
Blisten Shocks
3" Borla catback system
3.42 Gears
3600-3800 RPM stall, Vigilante torque converter
It had a tranny rebuild about 8k miles ago. The S-trim was rebuilt at that time as well.
$4900

Thanks,

I'm located in Rockford IL. Not really interested in trades. I need the space and I’m trying to cut down on the toy budget..

They are from over a year ago but are accurate as far as the over all condition of the car. Currently the car is just about ready to pull the motor as it sits. I worked on it right after the spun bearing happened but got to busy at work and other things to do anything more with it. So it has all the front accessories removed and the blower etc. I'll try to snap some pics in the daylight of its current condition but you will receive all the parts to bring it back to what you see in the pictures.
Yes it still has the spun bearing. It will have to be towed. I have a friend with a car trailer that may be able to deliver for a fee.
Thanks

Re: 95 Z28 With S-trim needs work...
Crazy,
That depends on what you want to do with it of course. You could drop in a used lt1 for < $1000 probably. Or rebuild this one. Or build a fire breathing monster motor.
I don't have it apart enough to see what exactly needs replacing. It sounded like a bad rod bearing to me. So you would at least need to get the crank reground and new bearings possibly connecting rods resized.
