94 Z28 FS needs headgasket

This is my 94 Z28 for sale. It has 81K miles on it. I love the car and hate the idea of selling it. I took the car on an 840 mile round trip last week (all in one day), and made it 825 miles. Towards the end, the car started running hot. I believe the headgasket blew out. The car runs and drives excellent, or at least it did till that happened. Believe me, I would have never taken it on that trip if I didn't believe the car was reliable. Anyway, the tires on the car have maybe 5000 miles on them, and the trans was rebuilt at 78K. Everything in the car works, it has tan leather interior, and Ttops. The car also is an automatic. The engine still starts and runs, but coolant seems to disappear, so I think the headgasket needs replacing. I also need to mention the interior is in excellent shape, and the body also is, with the exception of the hood and nose. The hood has a small dent at the front, and the nose has a small tear right in front of the hood. If a bra was put on, nobody would notice. I want $2900 for the car as it sits. It is located in Lynbrook, Long Isalnd, NY. Contact me at B4CTROOPER@aol.com if you're interested.

I already checked, no water in the oil. Once I got it home, I started it the next day, after it cooled off, and some light smoke came out of the exhaust, but that may have been condensation.

If you meet me in the middle at $2700, I'd probably do it. BTW, I forgot to mention, the car also has a remote start alarm in it.

Sorry, I've turned down $2500 before this thread, $2700 and it's yours.
