Hood, rods, stroker crank and th400 with converter

I want to make a few changes to my car for next season so here are a few things I have for sale.

1) SLP Ultra Z hood for 93-97 Camaro. The hood is painted red and it has been clearanced on the bottom. Top of the hood and finish are perfect. Asking $365.00 sold

2)Callies Pro 1 Billet rods used. 5.7 length good for big HP need to be resized Asking $ 380.00

3) Callies Stealth crank 1 piece rear main seal. 3.750 with 350 mains works for both 5.7 and 6.0 inch rods, Knife edged with 5 slugs of mallory (internal balance). Needs to be cut .10 under..maybe .20. I am not sure so the price is right Asking $225.00 sold

4) TH400 Transmission built by API transmission. Full manual reverse with transbrake. 275lbs of presure. This is a very serious unit. I went 160 mph with it. Asking $1200 fresh ready to go.

5) API one piece torque converter. This is a 9 inch nitrious converter. Very, very tight. Stalled 4000rpm off the brake in my car. Probably lower in yours. All the toys, Forged aluminum stator, Anti balloon plates, etc... I also used this converter to go 160 mph. Converter is in perfect shape ready to use. This is a non lockup converter for Th400 or Th350 tranny. Asking $ 550.00

All prices are shipping extra. All items are ready to be shipped. If you want more info please contact me at vincemc@ils.net

The back of the hood where it meets the cowl has a double floor. That's the way it is constructed so you can have an air box in the front of the motor. Anyway. I was running a carb set up and I had to trim part of that bottom floor/ section in order to fit over my carb. The section is about 2 inches by 2inches in a square. There is no structural support there so the hood has been sounds structurally. I am sure you could reglass it if you wanted too. The hood is fibre glass.

I know my tranny is going. I have a 95 Z28 M-6. Would the TH400 be a good replacment?

Well it depends what you want to do with your car?

The Turbo400 is a three speed nonoverdrive nonlockup tranny. The one I have for sale is built for drag racing use. It will work on the street for short hops and putting around town as well but for the highway its a waste of time and money. If you want to drag race this is a great tranny and converter for you. Let me know and good luck.
