9 inch Rear End Assembly for 4th gen F-body
9 inch Rear End Assembly for 4th gen F-body
I sold it this morning to LT1OmegaCruiser who was also a pleasure to do business with as well as a great guy. He works for a company that supports the troups in the field and that's great.
Drive Train Specialists built rear end assembly with DTS 3.70 gear, Strange nodular iron center, Moser 31 spline Rob Gordon axles, Tracktech Detoit Locker, Ford 31 spline yoke (U-bolt type), DTS housing, DTS fabricated torque arm mount, Timken roller bearings, etc. I had it installed for a year and decided it was overkill since all I do is go to park-and-shine events. I've boosted my output but not enough to justify the rear. I've never raced the car and it only comes out when the weather is good-basically a garage queen with a killer rear end. Brakes are not included. I ran the stock brakes but it was a @$%&$ to get them installed. I would recommend aftermarket units. I also ran the stock driveshaft which was about an inch too short but still had enough on the output shaft to work. Like I said, it's in like new condition and I have HQ pictures to prove it. It can be yours for $1300.00-a fraction of what I paid. You will not be disappointed. I live in Holland, Ohio (just to the left of Toledo) and prefer that you pick it up. That way you can see what you're getting. You can leave a message here, call 419-280-2610 (cell), or email to sc3874@att.com (PDA). Thanks
