well decided to change directions and step up to an aftermarket dart block!! So I have the following item for sale. Complete 383 cid motor bored 4.035 with 3.75 callies crank, 5.85 oliver rods, je custom nitrous pistons with lowered ring land coated sides and top, crower special ground cam with crower roller lifters,hell fire rings,coated rod and main bearings, billit main caps, arp bolts, 7 quart oil pan, afr 227 race ready heads! Had to wait over 6 montsh for these heads. Jesel shaft mount rockers, 1.65 intake, 1.60 exhaust, trix flow push rods, lt4 intake gasket matched to heads and throttle body. 58 mm billit aluminum throttle body, brand new opti from gm. polished aluminum valve covers notched for alt for you vette guys. Engine was assembled at Francis Engineering Racing Engines in Leroy, Ohio. Motor has only been started and never raced since rebuilt for nitrous use!! FRESH MOTOR!! $6,500 TAKES ALL. I have double that into it. What kind of CR is it running? And what size valves are in those heads? Was that a typo? Just curious. Also, you located in ohio where it was built? Thanks.

cr is 12to1 the heads are 64cc they have 2.10 intake and 1.60 exhaust sorry my typing skills are a little to be desired!!! yes i am located in leetonia ohio about an hour from shop that built the motor!!! let me know if interested thanks ray

 

Bummer. I'm looking for a low CR blower setup. Something it the 9:1 range and i'll be putting a big N02 shot on top of that. Sounds like a nice set up, but the wrong CR.

ttt anyone interested in entire motor before i part the top end from bottom end? have a couple guys interested in heads and jessel rockers!! anyone interested in bottom end for $3500 which barely covers crank and rods!!get the crower cam and lifters,billit timing chain,je custom pistons,hell fire rings,7 quart oil pan,all the coatings on pistons and rod and main bearing,oliver main caps,arp bolts, and not to mention all machine work and assembly for free!!!!

 

I would take it in a flat second if i had the money for it.
