I have a 227/233, 560/569 (with 1.6 rockers) XE grind camshaft up for sale. I purchased the cam new from combination motorsports. The cam has less than 2500 miles on it and shows no wear. I am changing to a different setup and I pulled the camshaft out today. You can check out combination motorsports website if you want to read more about this cam. How's the idle with a good tune?

What's the powerband? Max RPM that cam needs?

 

The idle is very nice with a good tune. The cam has a nice lope, but idle and driveablility is great with a good tune. The powerband is in the 2500-6500 range from my experience with the the cam, but you can check out the combo motorsports site to see the recommended range. It made its peak power around 5900 and it liked to rev to around 6200 for me.

 

I called combo today and I told him my setup, and that is the cam he recommended. He said that's the biggest cam he would run on a stock bottom end car, with stock cubes. I will contact you when I have the cash to see if you still have it.

 

TTT for a bad a$$ cam and it pulls like craazy from 2500-6500 i woudl smoke the tires from 1st all the through 3rd with this cam in my 96 SS

 

do you have pics and proof to verify it is the cam you are saying becaues I am very interested!!! Is this on a 111 LSA ??

what times did you run with this cam, did you have your car dyno'd?

 

I have been away for a few days, but I still have this cam up for sale if anyone is interested. I don't have any pics, but the cam is in great condition and ready to ship. My car went 7.90 in the 1/8th with a 1.85 short time with this cam on the motor and recently went 7.47 on nitrous with this cam with a 1.80 short time shifting at around 6100rpm. It made 356hp/350tq on the dyno sae corrected through a 12 bolt with 17" torque thrust wheels on it. Anyway, if it doesn't move here in the next couple of days off it goes to ebay.
