1994 Red Z28 M6 T-Tops For sale or trade for a turbo DSM
I'm looking to get rid of my z28 I need something practical for the winter, and working part time I can't afford a 2nd car. The only trades I would probably consider would be a DSM, either a 1st gen turbo + cash depending on the car, or a 2nd gen turbo. FWD or AWD, makes no difference...but it must be a 5 speed.
Anyway, on to my car. As the title states, it is a red 1994 Z28 LT1. 6 speed, the tranny shifts good, clutch is still firm. The car is bone stock with the exception of !CAGS, a flowmaster catback, and a drop-in K&N filter. The car also has the 96-97 SS spoiler on it, definitely looks nice. I have a flowtech cutout in box, but it hasn't been welded in as of yet. The car also has T-Tops, they don't leak a drop. The car also has a 10 disc trunk mounted CD changer with remote and face plate up front. Right now, the car has 104,xxx miles on it, and it is my daily driver so the mileage may vary a bit from the time of posting to the time I sell it. I'm the 3rd owner; the guy I bought it from was an fbody enthusiast from Illinois; he owns 2 corvettes, an LT1 and LS1, and always took well car of this car. Before him, he said he bought it off of the original owner, who was an older gentleman.
The car is almost perfect, and is in way above average shape for a car going on 11 years old. The coolant sensor goes off from time to time, but anyone who is familiar with LT1's knows it's common. It doesn't leak or burn a drop of oil or coolant, never overheats or anything like that; runs perfect. On the drivers seat, the left bolster has a tear in it from getting in and out...another common problem due to the thin cloth on the camaro seats. The last thing is the rear bumper should be repainted...it has a few spots with clearcoat peeling off; but only on the bumper. Other than that, the car is awesome. All power options work, all lights etc. A/C needs to be recharged, but doesn't leak. Blower works well.
As for the price...I'm looking to get what I paid for a few months ago, nothing more. 5,500 is what I paid; I'm slightly negotiable on this. Throw me an offer, but don't lowball. For the condition it's in, it is worth it. As I said in the beginning, I'm looking for a 1st or 2nd gen eclipse/talon turbo, AWD or FWD, must be a 5 speed...otherwise, money talks.
