1972/454 install question

I am getting ready to drop a 454 BB into my 1972 Camaro. The engine has the low rise valve covers so it should clear the brake booster. What motor mounts or mods need to happen before I drop it in? I have read that I would need to just purchase different motor mounts that attach to the block. Can anyone offer any advise? And what about the transmission?
Thanks.

Wrong section to post, but it should bolt on without an issue you may only need BBC motor mounts, I recomend stock type, we have Poly mounts and it vibrates too much we're going back to stock type. The trans you can use any type TH350 or the TH400 without an issue should bolt up without a problem.

When I put a BBC (402 out of a 72 Monte) into my 72 Chevelle, I used my stock small block motor mounts without a second thought (didn't even think there might be a difference). It also came with a TH400. All I had to do was slide the tranny mount back into different holes which were already in the frame. I needed a different driveshaft, but that was expected. The 402 had the M/T ribbed aluminum valve covers which fit in the engine bay with the A/C box still installed. I'm telling you there was more than enough room WITHOUT any issues. You can get long tube headers for this setup all day long as well. You should have no issues what so ever putting a 454 into your Chevelle.
