There can be differences.

They can be either a 3-channel system - ABS only, single rear sensor on top of diff housing, or 4-channel system - ABS +TCS, two rear sensors on the ends of the axles). The rear will bolt up, but the rear sensor connectors have to match the number of chassis harness connectors, or the ABS and/or TCS will not work.

The e-brake actuation is different. Rear will bolt up but the e-brake cable may need to be replaced. The 98-02 rear brakes are larger as well, but that shouldn't be a problem.
