Exclamation Rules Of This Forum - Please Read

There are a few simple rules that must be followed to ensure that everything runs smoothly here. These rules are sitewide, not just the "For Sale" section. Failure to comply with this may result in your posts being deleted and your account being suspended.

1) NO UNAUTHORIZED ADVERTISING or MAKING A PROFIT FROM THIS COMMUNITY
This forum is solely intended for the benefit of two types of people:
* Those who have an extra part or two and want to help out someone with a good deal.
* Those who come here looking for a good deal from a fellow community member.

This means no reselling/retailing/etc. for profit in quantities or otherwise. This also means no "generating interest in a product if I make it" or anything of that nature. This site is not to be used as a free tool to generate leads and/or sales on products.

If you want to make a profit from this site by any methods, including selling parts AND/OR services in any retails manner, including "non-profit" services, you better be a Supporting Vendor of this site. Supporting being the important word. If you want to make money from this community, it is only fair that you help support this community in return for helping you make that money.

2) NOT INTERESTED IN WHAT IS FOR SALE? DO NOT POST IN THE THREAD
If you have no intention of buying what is being offered, then you have absolutely no business posting in the thread the item is being sold in. Giving someone a hard time because their price is too high, etc. is not your place if you weren't at least going to make an offer on what is being sold.

3) THIS SITE IS NOT A DISPUTE SERVICE
If a deal has gone bad, don't decide to make it into an argument here as it will not get you anywhere. Take it up with the authorities who can actually DO something about it. No positive result to your situation can come out of bickering over the Internet.

4) DO NOT BUMP YOUR OWN THREADS (aka "TTT") MORE THAN ONCE IN A 24 HOUR PERIOD
Replying to your own thread ("bumping") bringing it to the top not only brings your thread back to the top of the forum for more exposure, but it also moves everyone else's down. Please be courteous to others by not doing it more than once in a 24 hour period. People abusing this will find their threads removed.

5) USE THE CARS/PARTS WANTED FORUM FOR POSTS ABOUT PARTS WANTED
We made the Parts Wanted forum due to continued requests so there is no reason for us to continually move "WTB" threads from here to there. Any posts of a "parts wanted" nature in this forum (the Parts for sale) forum will be deleted. Cross-posting (posting the same threads in both forums) will result in both threads being deleted.

Some have tried to use the excuse that this forum has more traffic. Sorry, that defeats the purpose of having more than one forum on a web site. Use the proper forum when looking for parts.

6) NO EXCESSIVE USE OF EBAY LINKS
If you want to sell to the highest bidder, eBay works fine.
If you want to help out a fellow car owner/enthusiast on a good deal, this is your place.

Again, this forum is meant to help others, not get the highest bidder.

Abuse of this can result in your posts with eBay links being deleted.

If you see a violation of these rules, PLEASE click the " REPORT! " icon found in the bottom left hand corner of each and every post. Your help is appreciated.

More will be added to this as time goes on and as necessary.

Got a suggestion regarding something that should be mentioned here? Have a question about what is mentioned here? Please do not post it here. Contact us directly and we will be happy to help.
