Simply put, there is no better alternative. It is without equal. I have used it for 3 - 4 years and I can honestly say I'll prolly use until I'm dead. For DARK coloured cars it is just incredable. Not only because the results are fabulous, but because it is so easy to put on and take off.

About $60 for a starter set and about $30 per year after that.

oh thats not too bad.

i thought it would be alot more expensive.

can you use a buffer with this? or does it strictly have to be applied by hand?

and what is included in the starter set?

you can use a power buffer but you would spend a lot of cash cause of how much you would go through. i spent 120 after tax to get all the neccesarry stuff

You really need a garage and time to use it properly... I used it a few times and gave up because out in the open at my apartment I couldn't do a very good job.

Zaino is great stuff, most of the car-show guys use it. But we need better representation in the Lower Mainland. Mrak is nowhere to be found. Send him a pm and he did try me once but my box was full. I posted a thread and pm'd him again, maybe he was out of town? I see his post now so maybe I'll here from him.

What you'll need is ZFX to mix with your Z-2 polish for clear-coated cars if you have one. I bought Z-1 pre-lock but prefer the zaino ZFX cause it drys faster enabling you to apply multiple coats of polish in one day. Start with a wash with dishsoap (dawn) yes dishsoap, it wont hurt it cause you only do it the first time. Then re-wash with Z-7 car wash then use the claybar. It will remove all dirt, microfibres and contaminents from pollution and such. You'll be getting tired by this time and you haven't even started applying the polish. After each coat of polish and after every wash I use the Z-6 gloss enhancer, this really brings up the shine. The Z-10 leather conditioner makes your leather smell like new again. They have Z-5 swirl remover if you need it, I also bought the clear-view glass cleaner and leather cleaner. For my dash, plastics and weather-stripping I use 303 aerospace, it has 40 uv sun protection and I highly recommend it for all plastic and vinyl protection. Zaino costs a little more but last longer, I polish mine about 3 times a year but could get by with once or twice. Get it, spread it, forget it and respect it, zaino is the best. Just ask America.
