It sat a couple days w/ a cover over it so my dad felt sorry for me and surprised me with it fixed.

I have this same deck, just got it 6 months ago. Id vouch for it anytime. I have 180 songs on 1 disk in the mp3 format, that you can search and scroll through artists, titles, etc.

very nice

man, thing with firebirds/TA's going with an aftermarket deck reders your steering controls useless so that kinda sucks, thats why I'll never get rid of mine stock deck for life!

PAC makes everything to do everything , I run an amp off my factory deck with a pac oem 1 plug and play style addapter . They make a swx -1 that will allow use of the steering wheel controls with many aftermarket HU like Payams . There stuff requires no wies to be cut too .

Link to everything you ever wanted to know about how to hack up the monsoon

Thanks to Twitch for the link to transforming the Monsoon. I downloaded that info cause I want to up-grade the Monsoon, or rip it out. Minimal bottem end, I like killer sound and this doesn't quite deliver in my opinion. Subs here we come.
